London, 29th October 2008: In a new report called FTTH Pricing in Europe 2009, Tariff Consultancy Ltd provides a unique survey of the main FTTH providers in 19 European countries – from Austria to the UK.
The pricing of more than 26 FTTH infrastructure providers are profiled across Europe. Pricing is also included of a number of service providers who offer services to the end user household over an open access FTTH infrastructure.
FTTH Pricing in Europe 2009 provides pricing examples from key European FTTH suppliers and also compares current provider pricing with the established FTTH providers in Hong Kong, Japan and South Korea. South Korea offers clearly the lowest cost FTTH service worldwide.

Dual and Triple Play services in Europe continue to focus on price competition with promotional pricing now the norm
London 9th August 2008: Mobile Broadband is set to be the main growth area for 2008 into 2009 with Mobile Broadband subscribers subscribers in Portugal overtaking Fixed Broadband user numbers. Other European countries will follow. Triple Play services offered by the incumbent telecoms operators are becoming more competitive, with the price advantage of triple-play bundled services (usually a package of telephony, broadband and TV services) against their unbundled service equivalent now ranging from 12 to 35 per cent across 8 major European countries.

The latest edition of the quarterly “Data Centre Price Tracker,” published by Tariff Consultancy Ltd - a unique survey of Data Centre Per Rack pricing in 14 European countries (including for the first time the Czech Republic) - shows that even though Data Centre average Per Rack rentals fell by 2.4 per cent for the 3 months up to July 2008 new space expansion continues.
